The removal of Raghav Chadha as deputy leader in the Rajya Sabha by the Aam Aadmi Party has triggered political debate and speculation about the party’s internal functioning. He has been replaced by Ashok Mittal.
The development follows Chadha’s absence from crucial party events, including a press conference and a public meeting at Jantar Mantar, where Arvind Kejriwal strongly criticized the Bharatiya Janata Party.
Chadha, who entered the Rajya Sabha at a relatively young age, has been one of the prominent faces of the party. He has previously served as vice chairman of the Delhi Jal Board and as an advisor to Bhagwant Mann.
While party insiders insist the decision is routine, his reduced visibility has raised questions about his current role in the party’s strategy.
